Matthew Spink is the chief instructor of East Coast Martial Arts Academies and has been studying the martial arts for over 20 years. Matthew holds a 5th degree black belt under the World Martial Arts Federation and also studies Muay Thai, Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Donald Spink is the owner, founder and head master of East Coast Martial Arts Academies and has been studying the martial art for over 45 years. Donald holds a 7th degree black belt under the World Martial Arts Federation. He has been operating a Martial Art school in Quincy for almost 40 years. The original location was at 11 Revere Rd. with “United Studios of Self Defense”.

All of our children’s classes are split by age and level so your child is working on what is most relevant to their skill level and receiving plenty of attention. With the guidance of our high energy children’s program, run by our positive staff, your child will enjoy:

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu teaches you how to overcome a stronger opponent through technique, leverage and using their strength against them.
